                      Design Considerations

The theory of evaporation includes the knowledge that with natural evaporation, such as from a lake, only the top of the water droplets are exposed to the air.

Common sense dictates exposing more of the droplet increases evaporation.

Slimline developed a design that would enhance evaporation by mechanically increasing the exposure  of droplets.

As “hang time” (the amount of time a droplet is airborn) increases so does the evaporation.

The design goal was to increase the ” hang time” using mechanical means to substantially accelerate evaporation.
